This week at TIO the theme is Shabby Chic. And my take on it was a house shaped tag crackled and "shabbied" up... (not sure if that is a word...lol).
Shabby Chic style is one of my favorite decors. Mixed with old and new, love the soft and comfortable feel of the look. On this piece I used 3 of our embellishments sold in our Etsy store... The first 2 are handmade with love. They are our Lullabye Buds which come in baby pink or blue, and the second are our Dove pins, sprinkled with irridescent glitter. They add just the perfect touch to your scrapbook pages, or art projects, to a hat, or wherever your creative mind can take you. The other wonderful embellishment is our Victorian Chandelier Crystals, which are acrylic so take very well to alcohol inks, or just left alone. This one I used Glossy Accents and adhered patterend paper to the back of it. It's a great addition to any altered book, art project or even made into jewelry..
